LG has just officially announced a stylish new Android smartphone, the LG Optimus Black at CES 2011 event. It is promises that the Optimus Black is provides one-of-a-kind user experience unlike anything before, and it is the world’s slimmest 9.2 mm smartphone at the moment (iPhone 4 is only 9.3mm thin).
The LG Optimus Black smartphone has features a 4-inch NOVA touchscreen display with 700 nits brightness that consumes less power than LCD and AMOLED displays, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, and a 1500 mAh battery.
The handset is also offers the Wi-Fi Direct technology that makes easy and quick data transfer between mobile devices. New LG Optimus Black is currently running on Android 2.2 Froyo, but upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread soon. It is also pair with its Optimus UI 2.0.
LG Optimus Black smartphone would be debut in H1 2011. There is no information on pricing of this LG Optimus Black.
