For those who want a 3D monitor, Acer has the GN245HQ, a 24-inch monitor.
Of course, there are a lot of other 3D monitors out there, but what makes this different is that the infrared emitters that control the shutters of the 3D glasses are built-in the monitor instead of working with the USB IR emitter. This is different than NVIDIA’s 3D Vision system, and it frees up another USB slot.
Other features include a 120Hz refresh rate LED backlight and 1920 x 1080 (full HD) native resolution.
The Acer GN245HQ will be released in Europe around February for about $585.
