Samsung just officialy announced their new Samsung Galaxy smartphone, namely Samsung Galaxy 2. The Samsung Galaxy S II is next generation of Samsung Galaxy S and comes with the three new Samsung Hubs, Readers Hub provides acces to 2,000 global and local newspapers in 49 languages, 2,300 popular magazines in 22 languages and 2.2 million books and novels, Game Hub for download premium titles from partners like Gameloft, or ‘enjoy Social Network Games (SNG), and Music Hub for download over 12 million tracks from 7digital.

The new Galaxy S II is equipped with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touch screen with a WVGA 480×800-pixel resolution, Dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 proccessor with Orion chipset, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB or 32 GB storage, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, Geo-tagging, face and smile detection, support Adobe Flash 10.1 and running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System with TouchWiz UI 4.0.

Other specifications of the device includes 3.5mm headphone jacks, microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, GPS with A-GPS support, HTML browser, HDMI port, Digital compass, Accelerometer sensor, Proximity sensor, Gyroscope sensor, and Mobile High-definition link allowing to watch full HD content on TV. Dimensions of Samsung Galaxy 2 are 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.49 mm and weight about 116g.

Samsung Galaxy II smartphone also support isco’s mobile solutions for VoIP calls, VPN, and virtual desktop, HSPA+ (High-Speed Packet Access) that offers HSPA+ up to 21M bps and NFC (Near-Field Communications) to support emerging mobile payment service and other services with mobile operators. Samsung also claims if the Samsung Galaxy 2 is the world’s thinnest smartphone for this time.
