Dell Vostro in the mid-2011, is a force to be reckoned with. Because designed with small business users in mind, the Dell Vostro 3350 offers outstanding application performance, AMD Radeon automatic switching, and a well-chosen assortment of tools and services designed to help keep users and run around the clock. With its sleek aluminum casing and spill-resistant keyboard, the portable 13-inch thin and light is built to last, and give almost a full day of battery life between charges.

You can configure the Vostro 3350 with a variety of Core i3, i5 and i7 Core and fill it with up to 6 GB of memory. Hard drive options ranging from 320 to 750, and some models offer the possibility of a 128 GB solid state hard drive.

The port selection is typical of a thin and light notebook. The left side of the chassis has two USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet port and a DVD burner to loading platform. The right side is home to HDMI and VGA, headphone and microphone ports and one eSATA / USB 2.0. There is also an eight-format flash card reader built into the front edge of the right side.

13.3-inch Vostro, the screen has a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 and is treated with a matte anti-glare that is not reflective. The color quality is excellent and the small fonts appear clear and legible, but off-angle viewing is not ideal, and it is noticeable color change seen on the very side. Photos of the 1-megapixel webcam integrated into the bezel at the top is too grainy for souvenirs, but the camera works quite well in both bright light and dark to use video conferencing and Dell preloading Skype, so you can do video calls right out of the box.

Vostro 3350 is built around Intel Core i5-2410M processor and 4 GB of system memory. It also uses a low power graphics solution that corresponds to the Nvidia Optimus technology that automatically switches between a dedicated Radeon HD 6490M graphics processor for applications requiring improved graphics performance and integrated Intel HD 3000 Graphics chip when you do not need many more graphics muscle and the need to conserve battery power.

In our battery tests Travel DVD, where a movie is playing until the battery runs low, the Vostro 3350 lasted exactly 6 hours. It is 2 hours and 30 minutes longer than the mid-thin and light, almost an hour longer than the Asus U31JG-A1.
