Fujitsu Lifebook LH531 Review, Specs and Price

Fujitsu Lifebook LH531
Fujitsu presents Lifebook line of notebook computing LH series that offers a flexible and modern. Comes with two types of LH530 (based on the Intel Core series-i first-generation) and LH531 (with Intel Sandy Bridge).

LH531 Lifebook comes with Intel Core I3-2310M, with a speed of 2.1 GHz. These processors can be upgraded to Intel Core i5 that has Turbo Boost function. Memory capacity can be increased up to 8 GB though LH531 only provides 2 GB of RAM.

Fujitsu Lifebook LH531 adopted two chips to meet the needs of graphics known as hybrid mode (hybrid). Use of this hybrid graphics instead of working together in order to get more performance, but work separately. If you use a light applications such as Internet or typing, onboard Intel graphics chip that works. Meanwhile, if the process is more complex graphics calculations, the system will automatically use the nVidia chip.

However, not many expect a lot when running heavy applications like the latest games. The reason, nVidia GF 410M graphics chip is only suitable for running various games with low resolution. However, nVidia GF 410M chip performance remains better than the Intel chip HD3000. In addition the hybrid objective is to conserve battery life and processor. Because the computational process will be transferred to the graphics chip rather than to the processor.

Looks like Fujitsu Lifebook LH531 intended for serious users. This is reflected not support the inclusion of multimedia features. With the absence of the facility, the notebook is more appropriate to work even if the user also be able to play various multimedia files.

Just look at the area around the keyboard that has no shortcut buttons at all. The area above the keyboard appear plain, decorated only speakers on the left and right as well as a large power button is easily pressed. Various features which are quite standard, without proper eSATA and FireWire ports. Luckily still provided an HDMI port for connecting to high-definition digital screens.

Based on test results, the use of graphics chips Nvidia GF 410M indeed produce better performance. This we conclude, after comparing this product with the Acer Aspire 4750 which has the same specs (except the nVidia graphics chip not included). In addition test results show the battery life more efficient while actively running the nVidia chip high-definition video content.

The advantage gained thanks to the use of graphics chips from nVidia looks better increase in performance and battery power becomes more economical. Although serious memorable because without the necessary multimedia features, specifications offered are able to meet your computing needs in full.
