This virus is a variant of a trojan virus named ANDRIDOS_NIKISPY which can record phone calls. This latest variant has greater capabilities than its predecessor. The virus is able to answer an incoming call if the screen is off.



Researchers from the Trend Micro says the auto answer on this virus works on Android 2.2 and the version below. As for Android 2.3, the virus is not working because MODIFY_PHONE_STATE function disabled.



To disguise himself, this virus will be installed with the Google logo +. In addition, to further confuse the phone owners, the virus will also install an application called Google + +. So for your Android phone users seem to have more extra careful.
