Asus showcased the newest netbook, the Eee PC 1025 Series at Computex this week. Eee PC 1025 Series is a netbook that will be powered by Intel Atom N2600 and N2800. Asus said the new netbook will feature Instant On technology that allows you to continue the work from standby in two seconds and the batteries can last up to two weeks on standby / standby. Asus says that you will get up to 14 hours of battery life "under ideal conditions," which usually means you have to turn off WiFi and Bluetooth and the screen dimmed. However, we have seen netbooks Asus battery with 10 hours in the past, so maybe that new netbook could match or exceed the performance with low power Intel's latest processors.
The Eee PC 1025-series netbook will feature HDMI outputs, a web camera with 4x zoom, and the design of case / new cover with a layer of metal. The latest Asus Netbook will be available with support for 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and USB 3.0. There has been no word on launch date or price of the Eee PC 1025 Series. (source)
