Dell Vostro V130 Laptops Review, Specs, Feature and Price

Dell Vostro V130 Laptops
This new version of Dell Latitude V130 laptop to update the model with the same name as the previous review PC Advisor, which in turn was a continuation of your old A13.

At only 1.6 kilograms, Dell Vostro V130 classic design thin and light, but cut corners on construction quality and materials. Its anodized aluminum is difficult and interesting in an industrial area so within a magnesium alloy form the palm rest under a full-size keyboard with paving responsive keys elastic. There is also a relatively large touchpad, located to the left of center.

Given its size, the Dell Vostro V130 has a relatively good selection of ports – everyone, except the multi-card reader format on the side and front audio connectors are located around the back. Three USB 2.0 ports are included, including a pair of eSATA. There is a Gigabit LAN port and two HDMI and VGA. The heat also breaks down from behind by a fan that makes noise audible until the start, but moved in a whisper in use.

Screen 13.3-inch Dell Vostro V130 offers the familiar native resolution of 1366×768 pixels and uses a non-glare matte surface. Unfortunately, it suffers from poor viewing angles, resulting in visible changes in color and brightness on the screen. The color is not even that great to begin with, estimated at only 262,000 colors instead of the 16.7 million more common.

These factors contribute to a screen that is much worse than you might expect. Certainly not good enough, if you hope to make a photo or video editing.

A 1.33 GHz Intel Core i5 470UM powers the Dell Vostro V130 laptop and is completed with 4 GB of DDR3 1333 memory and a fast and spacious 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive.

Because of its relatively low clock speed, this chip can not keep up with full-size notebook with Core i5 2.4 GHz or more, but it offers a lot more punch than the U5400 1.2GHz Pentium and a , 33 i3 GHz Core chips used in HP TouchSmart TM2 and Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 11 Its score of 80 points in WorldBench 6 is a significant improvement over these two models.

The small size of the Dell Vostro V130 also leaves less room for a battery, the internal model of a non-removable 30WH capacity only severely limits the overall battery life. Using MobileMark 2007, recorded a time of just three hours before the power failed. It is about two hours less than we expect from the average corporate laptop, despite the ultra low voltage processor.

Bluetooth 3.0 and 802.11b/g/n wireless networking standard, but also lose features like fingerprint reader and an optical drive. 3G modem is available as an option, although they are not, in our review sample. (Source)
