Asus K52F-BIN6 laptop features an Intel Pentium processor, a 15.6″ display and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium. Powering this laptop is the Intel Pentium P6200 processor. This is a dual-core, 64-bit processor running at 2.13 GHz. It has 3 MB of Intel Smart Cache and was built using a 32nm process. It uses 35W and can support up to 8GB of memory. This laptop comes with 3GB of DDR3 memory.


The display is a 15.6″ LED-backlit, high-definition widescreen display with a resolution of 1366×768. That gives it a 16:9 aspect ratio and native support for 720p HD content. The screen is driven by Intel UMA graphics which is not powerful at all, so don’t expect to be playing many games.

For storage you get a 500GB hybrid hard drive rotating at 7200RPM. That’s speedy and big, so you should get good performance from it. The optical drive is a multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support. The digital media reader supports Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick and Memory Stick PRO formats.

For networking you get an integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet adapter for connecting to the web with wires. Otherwise you can use the built-in 802.11b/g/n wireless adapter. External ports include 3 high-speed USB 2.0 ports, 1 HDMI port for connecting to your HDTV, 1 VGA port for an external monitor, 1 headphone out and 1 microphone in port.

You also get a .3 MP webcam with integrated microphone for easy video chatting, and a textured finish in Mood Indigo color.

This laptop comes installed with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium. Other software includes Adobe Flash and Adobe Reader. Microsoft Office Starter 2010 also included (product key card required for activation; sold separately).
